Happy Eco-Christmas!!!

by Annalisa Audino

Do you want to change your habits for a more eco-responsible Christmas? Why not to start from your Christmas Tree? Well, since this year the Christmas tree could become eco-sustainable.

Every year the fashion imposes us the tree in eco-material, the violet tree, red or silver. This year Lifegate, first network and advisor for the sustainable development in Italy, is dealing with a new original project devoted to the Christmas trees that could become the fashion. The idea is born from Reno de Medici, an Italian-Canadian multinational that operates in the business of paper and that it makes some environmental concept its founding principles and guide line for its business politics. On Christmas 2010 the firm has launched the Collection Reno, the Christmas tree with a low environmental impact: the first eco-sustainable tree made with 100% of fibers of recycled cardboard and endowed with the Fsc certification.

«The tree, - Daniele Mannina of Viralbeat explains - is to be eco-sustainable, and has further also a very winning design, it is practical and very resistant. It is available in more versions, and you don't need additional decorations and some neutral models have been realized so that children can have a good time it with colors, collage and decorations, just as it happens for traditional ones. Manufactured in a practice box, this tree is easily rearranged: once refolded and gotten up it occupies far less space than a normal artificial tree. Purchasing the tree from recycled (available in five models, three different dimensions) cardboard will make it possible therefore to do some good to the environment showing its own appointment in this sense, to involve the family in an amusing "bricolage" and, something that never fails, to celebrate the Christmas with a pinch of originality. We are proud to have found this original initiative to communicate our love for the environment and to contribute to a communication devoted to the ecological respect, that should be always stronger!».

For the one that wanted instead to send technological wishes without waste of paper and helping Unicef, the project also foresees the Portable North Pole, an original initiative to directly deliver from Santa Claus the most disparate wishes: you can prepare a special message personalized for your beloved ones and to make them laugh.

Let’s go! Christmas is arriving!!!
