Energethica: the sustainable energy circuit

The 5th edition of “Energethica”, the sustainable energy fair, opens in Italian city of Genova since 4th to 6th March. The fair, that attracts 14,000 visitors from all around Italy and from other 19 countries, is divided into several sectors – Solar energy, Wind, Savings and energy efficiency, Earth, Hydrogen, Water, Green building, Sustainable transports – and offers a rich program of conferences and events that will give the visitor stimulus and topics to reflect on. Energethica, in these five years, has become wider: from a simple fair it became a real circuit that sustains the development of sustainable energy.

With its 55 media-partners, the Circuit sends every year more than 10 million of messages to experts and citizens interested to be informed about the subject. Its web site counts more than 100,000 daily visits, from Italy and over 60 Countries in the world. The big project uses valid communication tools: a thematic prize, a magazine Energethica news (sent for free to all fair visitors and to specialized workers) that writes about the topics of the fair and the practical solutions showed by exhibitors; Energethica club, an on line platform to propose and find services and products; an info point on legislation and financial support, located both on the web site and inside the fair; a quality label, identification mark for those who work into the sustainable energy sector or use renewable energies to give a higher value to their products or services.

Moreover since this year, the circuit is richer thank to “Energethica Square” and “Energethica Congress”, thematic conferences that take place in the main Italian cities and that are occasions on one hand to create a dialogue among different know-how coming from research, industry and politics, and, on the other, of concrete reflection on possible solutions.
The aim and communication strength of Energethica Circuit are described by Edgar Mäder, President of Emtrad, fair organizer: «Energethica wants to have a complete approach addressing to all actors involved into the energy sector: the research in fact, let’s say like this, makes the dream and invents either the technology or the product; the public administration that prepares the frame of activities; the industry that transforms that dream in an accessible truth for the final citizen or consumer who is ready to invest money on that direction. Moreover this year with over 20 National and International conferences, the Energethica Circuit is able to become a platform for far Countries, such as Malaysia, that together with National organizations, Enea, Cnr, Cei, Gse,, dialogue with the representatives of USA, Germany and Switzerland about different approaches to a complete sustainable development».
