Will be held in Macerata from the 3rd to the 5th of June 2011, the 9th edition of Ecologicamente, the event created in 2002 by SpazioAmbiente to promote consumption and sustainable lifestyles.
The festival will open June the 3rd with two major conferences (to be held at the Auditorium, St. Paul): the former will begin at 9:00 dealing with the theme "Training and new employment opportunities in the Green Economy and the world of Made in Italy”, while the latter will take care of "Sustainable Redevelopment of the buildings of downtown" at 15:30. With these two appointments on the one hand it will try to take stock of the opportunities offered by the values of sustainability to the quality of life, and on the other to offer new job opportunities for young people in the so-called Green Economy.
«In all these years we have seen a change and a growing interest to the proposed themes - says Robertino Perfetti, president of SpazioAmbiente and scientific coordinator of the event – there is still a great "laziness" of citizens to participate in meetings and debates. For this reason we are proposing different approaches: music and art. Among the innovations, the choice of the chief town as location of the festival and the organization of the Green Night (Saturday June the 4th) in collaboration with retailers, restaurateurs and hoteliers that will realize initiatives related to the topic sustainability. All the museums there will also be open up late».
The choice of days is not casual: the 5th of June will be the "World Environment Day" and will represent an important time for citizens to propose new scenarios on environmental policy, informing and involving them in a change that we see today all protagonists.
