To say to to sustainable and friendly

Since 13th to 15th January in Cagliari (Italy) there was the first edition of the Festival "To Say to Do Sustainable and Friendly", organized by the Council of Social Politics, associations, artisans and firms that operate in the sustainability and in the world of the ecology and generosity.

The event has been successful: the numerous visitors had the possibility to inquire, to compare things, to know many active local realities on the territory and also to purchase the products of artisans and artists. Among the interesting initiatives the two principal stands had great visibility, one devoted to the toy sharing and one devoted to the book sharing; great flow of public also had the room devoted to the collective show "Arteciclando" realized by artists that use material of recovery to realize their works. We talked about the event with Margherita Zanardi, photoreporter and founder of the Association Sustainable Happiness.

How is born the idea of the Festival?
«The festival has been conceived and proposed by the Council of Social Politics that has finally shown the wish to consider actual themes that cannot be more ignored, but rather that need to be discussed with the population. So it’s born this moment of constructive dialogue with a deaf administration that often can’t understand demands of the citizens and the citizen himself».

What role has had your collective? «Our Association has chosen, as always, of "to make net" involving so different actors of the cultural / artistic and handicraft scene as Flint Atzori, whose preparation has shown as the beauty is sustainable, Francis Cordeddu or the association 100%Vita Equitable, all examples of an active, aware and sustainable style of life. We have aimed on the creativeness and on the artistic communication of each to face the most burning themes of the moment so that to facilitate the approach to everybody, great and tiny».

Why have you chosen the balconies and the toys as themes of yours "actions?"
«The sustainable balconies and the vertical gardens have been select as exemplary for a revaluation and reconsideration of the man-nature relationship in this dramatic historical moment in which the vision of a humankind that is not part of a datum ecosystem, while the exchange for children has been our way to recall the attention on the need of an education to the life of community, a life that doesn't foresee wastes but relationships and exchanges».

Has the share been a lot of? Young people or adults?
«The share has been very considerable and the children's share attracted from the laboratories and from the initiative Toy Sharing has made everything more exciting and different than the usual one: they were reunited in fact, as it rarely happens, three generations in the fascinating and swarming places of life of the ex artistic high school modernized for the occasion by the floral preparations taken care of by the associations that operate on the territory».
